The Inferior Indian Education System
Now a days when people talk about India , then say " India's GDP is rising at a rapid pace " and mostly people take it as the welfare of economy but they don't know the difference between the welfare and GDP growth . There exist a lots of externalities between welfare and GDP growth . Hence only rise in GDP cannot be considered as a welfare of the society .
Coming directly to India's education system , after studying for twelve years , a life of student is judged on the basis of three hours of examination and they are categorised on the basis of how good they were at memorizing the text book and this categorisation does not end here people get job on the basis of that and obviously person having less percentage suffers through out their lives . Most worst part of indian education system is the quota system the so called reservation . I mean why !!! why someone even need a reservations for studying at a good college or for getting a good job and you know the truth is this BIZARRE thing is present in Indian education system only . Being myself a Indian citizen i go through all this every day, Though i am good at studying and able to score good marks , Still i think that in India their is no respect for the skills or talent. In India people are only concerned about how good your percentage is.
Talking about boards , "central board of secondary education" is the biggest board in india , almost 20 lakhs students appear every year from CBSE board . Still being popular does not mean that it is the best . CBSE is full of corruption. All the possible malpractices are being done by the officials of this board including paper outing before the conduction of examination for money , private checking of answer sheets and what not ...... every parent whether Indian or American sends their children to schools so that they can learn something new or can develop their personalities and for over all holistic development of their children but in india the future of youth are in hands of gamblers who does not give a shit !! about the future of their own country , they just want to stack their walls and matrices with money . All they can do is to ruin the future of children and that to for the meare sum of money .....and this corruption does not end at education level if you are a sports person then also you cannot survive in this country because in India the scenario of sports is much worse then the education system ...
Speaking personally i don't think their is any solution for these activities because corruption has embedded so deep in the roots of indian society that it is next to impossible to remove . STILL i am ending this post on a note of hope that may be some day Indian education system improves and not only education system but also the mind set of people .
